JAMMU, MARCH 18: The Drawing and Distributing Officers of district Jammu have been asked to stop the GPF subscription
The handout issued by Chief Account Officer, District Fund office Jammu, states that General Provident Fund Rules (Central Services), 1960 has come into force from October 31, 2019 which envisage that GPF subscription must be stopped three months prior to the date of superannuation.
The DDOs also asked to ensure that subscription is stopped on the stipulated date as a step towards timely finalization of F.R case.
The Drawing and Distributing Officer should invariable certify that no undrawn claim on account of withdrawal/advance is pending with the treasury while forwarding the F.R case.
