Jammu, January 14: Office Bearers of J&K Olympic Association today called on Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu here at the Raj Bhavan.
The delegation led by Prof. Dr. Ashutosh Sharma, Associate Vice President Indian Olympic Association and Honorary General Secretary, J&K Olympic Association projected issues related to reconstitution of Sports Council, formation of Sports Policy, support for conducting tournaments in Districts and streamlining the funding system of the Association in different disciplines.
Other members of the delegation including Kuldeep Singh Jamwal, Sidharth Daluja and Sunil Sharma were also present on the occasion.
The Lt Governor assured the members of the delegation that the genuine issues raised by them would be looked into for examination.
