Farooq Khan attends ‘Mega Sports Carnival’ of Modern Montessori International Pre-School Jammu

JAMMU, DECEMBER 29: Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Farooq Khan today maintained that the future of country is bright and in safe hands as the pre-schooling institutions are infusing values, character and other traditions in children in their formative years.
He made these remarks while attending ‘Mega Sports Carnival’ of Modern Montessori International Pre-School Jammu celebrated at Jammu University.
Advisor Khan, who was chief guest on the occasion, said that not only J&K but country also get benefitted from quality education imparted to children at start of their school through pre-schooling phase.
“Future of country solely depends on the training being imparted to child in early phase of his or her life’s development and all levels of education beginning from pre-school to professional trainings set the path of their overall positive development,” Advisor Khan said while addressing the carnival.
On the occasion, the Advisor appreciated the management, teachers and training staff for infusing values through several training modules to pre-school children and hoped the institution would continue in its endeavour the mission of providing quality education in the region.
Vice Chancellor, Jammu University Prof Manoj K Dhar, who was guest of honour on the occasion, complimented the MMI Jammu and said the future of country in particular of J&K is in safe hands. He said that the shaping of minds of the children gets initiated in the laps of their mothers but gets culminated at educational institutions. “So every institution has a role to play in inculcating best of the values and ideas in the personas of all the wards admitted there,” he added.   
Patron MMI Jammu, Neeraj Rohmetra, Directors MMI, Ms Bhavna Rohmetra and Ms Sapna Rohmetra, Principal MMI, Pragya Gupta, Coordinator MMI, Monica Sehgal, parents, school children and other staff were also present on the occasion.
On the occasion, Principal MMI, Pragya Gupta presented an annual report of MMI Pre-School Jammu while highlighting school’s different achievement and accomplishments during past academic year.
Earlier, the school kindergarten and toddlers presented several performances on themes of race, PT, gymnastics, karate, zumba etc.
