SRINAGAR, May 10: Minister for Public Works and Parliamentary Affairs, Mr. Abdul Rehman Veeri Tuesday called on Speaker Legislative Assembly, Mr. Kavinder Gupta at Assembly Secretariat here to discuss various issues relating to devising of calendar for ensuing Assembly Session, commencing from 25th of this month.
Deputy Chairman, Legislative Council, Jehangir Hussain Mir was also present on the occasion. Secretary Legislative Assembly, Mohammad Ramzan, Secretary, Legislative Council, Abdul Majid and other concerned officers were present on the occassion.
Later, Mr. Veeri visited office Chamber of Parliamentary Affairs Minister at Assembly Secretariat. He stressed upon the officer of Assembly and Council Secretariat to work in tandem and maintain close coordination with Administrative Department to ensure timely reply of question sent by the Secretariat from time to time.
