Jammu, Aug 20:Congress Vice President Shri Rahul Gandhi (MP) shall be visiting Jammu and Kashmir state from August 26 for a three days visit.Disclosing this here today, President JKPCC Mr. Ghulam Ahmed Mir held a meeting of Executive Members, Office Bearers of PCC, District Presidents and contesting candidates besides frontal wing heads at PCC headquarters here today, to chalk out the detailed programme in this regard. Mr. Mir apprised the leaders about the detailed programme of the Congress vice President and sought their suggestions.
Mir disclosed that Shri Rahul Gandhi shall be visiting all three regions of the state besides visiting the Balakote area of Poonch district where no of persons have died and injured due to Pakistan firing on August 15th. Shri Gandhi shall be arriving Jammu on August 26 and meet the representatives of different sections of society besides address a Panchayat Conference of the party for Jammu province.
Meanwhile, Mr. G. A.Mir accompanied by Senior leaders shall be visiting Balakote area of Mendhar tomorrow morning.Prominent those who attended the meeting today were Sham Lal Sharma, Tara Chand, Madan Lal Sharma, Dharam Pal Sharma, Mula Ram, Raman bhalla, Kanta Bhan, Jugal Kishore Sharma-MLC, S. Gurmukh Singh, Ravinder Sharma, Balwan Singh, Dr. Manohar Lal Sharma, Manjit Singh, Ch. Shah Mohammad, Vikram Malhotra, Manmohan Singh, Namrata Sharma, Faqir Nath, besides heads of frontal organizations and district presidents of Jammu province.
