JAMMU, MAY 03: Jammu had a respite from heat, after intermittent showers on Tuesday , whereas the meteorological department on Tuesday forecast light rain over the next three days.
An official said " Light rain is expected in J&K for three days beginning today which will provide relief from the high heat in the Jammu region."
The Maximum temperature on Monday touched 42.4 degree , highest of the season , whereas it was many degrees lower on Tuesday.
The areas nearby Jammu also got respite from the scorching heat.
Cross Town News talked to number people in Jammu city and they expressed happiness over intermittent showers , which reduced the high temperatures of Jammu and provided much needed relief to the people.
