Modi Govt failed on all fronts, pursuing anti-poor policies: Youth Cong

JAMMU, Apr 19: To lodge protest against failure of the BJP led NDA Government, activists of Youth Congress today organized a massive protest demonstration to highlight total failure of  Union Government on all fronts. The protest was organized especially on the day when Prime Minister, Narendra Modi was in Jammu to address various functions at Katra.

A large number of Youth Congress activists  gathered at  Press Club Jammu under the leadership of Pradesh Youth Congress (PYC) President Pranav Shagotra.. They were carrying  flags  and banners  amidst shouting slogans against  Modi led Government  at the Centre for its anti-people policies. They burnt the effigy of Narinder Modi.

Addressing the activists, Pranav Shagotra lambasted the Union Government for befooling the people by re-launching the welfare schemes, which were earlier launched by the Congress led  UPA regime. He said that BJP led NDA regime has done nothing for the  last two years  except  lip services and false promises.

Reminding the workers about promises made by the BJP leaders, especially Prime Minister, Narendra Modi during election campaign in 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Mr Shagotra said that Prime Minister had promised to bring back black money but two years have been passed but nothing has been done in this regard. “Issue of black money was raised only to hoodwink the innocent people”, He  said and alleged that BJP led NDA Government is hobnobbing with those who have huge black-money.

He said that except  promises  nothing has been done to ensure security and safety of border inhabitants. He reminded the BJP leadership about promise of providing alternative land to border residents at safer places.
