CHANDIGARH, Apr 12: The Haryana government has decided to rename Gurgaon as Gurugram and Mewat as Nuh.
An official spokesman said the decision to rename Gurgaon was taken on the basis of the representations received at several fora. Haryana is a historic land of the Bhagavad Gita, and Gurgaon had been a centre of learning and known as Gurugram since the times of Guru Dronacharya. (Agencies)
