JAMMU, Apr 01: Sanction is accorded to the constitution of a Monitoring Committee comprising the following officers to ensure the effective implementation of the Reconstruction Plan for Jammu and Kashmir State announced by the Prime Minister on 7'h November, 2015, within the stipulated time frame:
Chairman: Chief Secretary , Members : Administrative Secretaries of Planning & development , Forest , Torism , Home , H&UD, PDD, Finance , PWD, PHE , Science & Technology, Technical Education/YSS, Higher Education, Health , Relief & Rehabitilation, , Agriculture and Revenue department.
The terms of reference of the Committee shall be as under:
- To provide guidance for immediate formulation of the Action Plans for execution of the Reconstruction Plan.
- To monitor the implementation of the projects.
- iTo review the progress of the Reconstruction Plan on a monthly basis for time bound completion of projects.
- To resolve bottlenecks/impediments, if any, in pject implementation.
- The Monitoring Committee shall have the powers to co-opt any other person, if required, at any given point of time.
