JAMMU, Mar 29:Ravinder Raina , BJP MLA from Nowshera-Sunderbani , is among those few BJP MLAs who made a ride on core ideology of party and was benefitted immensely.
Whether it be those crisp statements on Nationalism or an attack on Er Rashid for holding Beef party , Ravinder Raina remained in limelight. He was the one who openly said that no new condition will be agreed upon if PDP gives one.
Sources in Centre and State BJP told Cross Town News that Ravinder Raina is the front runner for the Post of National BJYM President or General Secretary for that matter. Sources told that Ravinder Raina who comes from the RSS background holds backing of both RSS and BJP.
Sources that Ravinder Raina is also close to outgoing BJYM president Anurag Thakur and they both together played an important role in BJP’s success in the state during the Lok Sabha elections in 2014.
Sources told Cross Town News that Ravinder Raina is also being tipped to become MOS of prestigious Ministry in the state which somehow PDP is reluctant to give him.BJP did not have their MOS for the same Ministry last time and that affected BJP’s control on certain peripheries.
