KATHUA, MARCH 22 - District Development Commissioner, Ramesh Kumar convened a meeting of district officers to review the physical and financial achievements of Rural Development Department under District CAPEX Budget 2015-16 here today.
DDC took review of block wise physical and financial achievements made under MGNREGA, IAY, BADP and Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) under district Capex Budget.
ACD Sunil Sharma informed the meeting that 100% expenditure has been incurred under MGNREGA and 95% under IAY.
DDC also reviewed the progress of works of 31 boundary walls of school under convergence of SSA with MGNREGA, progress of works taken up under convergence of CDF with MGNREGA and block wise progress of SBM.
DDC directed CEO to coordinate with rural development department for completion of works in stipulated time frame. He further directed BDOs to sensitize people and put maximum efforts to make panchayats and villages Open Defecation Free (ODF).
DDC exhorted upon the officers for incurring 100% expenditure up to March 31, 2016 and timely completion of works. He also called for strict adherence to the codal formalities while executing the works.
CPO, ACD, CEO, XEN REW, DPO and BDO’s were also present in the meeting.
