JAMMU, MARCH 16: Speaker Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Mr. Kavinder Gupta today exhorted upon the concerned executing agencies to expedite the ongoing works on various developmental projects and ensure their timebound completion.
He gave these directions while taking stock of the ongoing works of subway project and Barole Bridge at Gangyal and Bandhu Rakh.
During his visit to Bandhu Rakh people apprised the Speaker with their problems related to water supply and road connectivity which were affected during execution of project.
The Speaker directed the concerned agencies to provide alternative safe drinking water supply and road connectivity to the adjoining villages so that the people of these areas do not face any inconvenience in this regard.
Later, the Speaker also visited Dadhap village and inaugurated the construction work of protection boundary wall from his Constituency Development Funds. He also inspected the various developmental works in village being executed by the different agencies.
