SRINAGAR, MARCH 18: Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, Dr Farooq Ahmad Lone Friday convened a meeting to review the arrangements made for ensuing.
The meeting was attended by the senior officers of Srinagar Municipal Corporation, PDD, CA&PD, Fisheries, Health, PHE, Police and Traffic Departments.
Deputy Commissioner directed the Fisheries Department to ensure availability of sufficient stocks of Fish at Gagribal, Alamgaribazar, Chandpora Harwan, Gundhasi Bhat, Abi Guzar and other Shai Muslim populated areas. He asked officers of CA&PD to ensure availability of Rice, Sugar, K.Oil and LPG Gas in these areas.
He also directed PDD and PHE Departments to ensure uninterrupted power and Water Supply especially in these areas during the Navroz. The Health Department was asked to ensure availability of medicare facilities and keep open all the Health Centers in these areas during Navroz festival.
