NEW DELHI, MARCH 17: Chairman, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council, Haji Anayat Ali called on Iranian Ambassador, Ghulam Reza Ansari, Minister Counselor Mr. Mohsini and Mr. Ahmad Abidi here today.
During deliberations Haji Anayat Ali expressed his gratitude to the Iranian Ambassador for their efforts and requested him that more needs to be done for poor and downtrodden people of Kargil.
He stressed for Cultural, Educational and Economic Co-operation between Iran and Kashmir. Mr. Anayat Ali requested Mr. Ghulam Reza Ansari for Co-operation in the field of education. He requested for special provision for admission of children of Ulema studying in Iran in the field of medical sciences and engineering. He also desired help to people involved in special trades between Iran and Kashmir to facilitate trade in products produced at both places.
Ambassador of Iran assured facilitation of good relations between Kashmir and Iran.
