Anantnag, June 16: A youth was killed and twenty two persons, including 10 cops, were injured during clashes in Anantnag town on Saturday.
Reports said that youth took to streets and staged protests soon after Eid prayers concluded at Eidgah Hanfia and Ahli Hadees & pelted the forces deployed in the area with stones.
The forces constraned to fire tear gas and pellets, triggering further clashes.
