SRINAGAR, May 5 :Employees employed under PM Package for honorable return and rehabilitation of kashmiri Pandits back to Valley who are working in many departments are without salaries for the last so many months and its disgusting on the part of the government for neglecting minorities for their delay in salaries on eve of their religious festival Maha Shivrarti.
Its only festival Kashmiri Hindus celebrate and without release of salaries on eve of Maha Shivrarti clearly shows the government attitude towards our community which talks high of their rehabilitation with dignity. It is million dollar question that where government has failed to draw salaries of 1400 employees employed under PM Package for returns and rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits back to Valley on time how government is going to rehabilitate the whole community with honor and dignity.
It has been for the last 5 years that the employees have to run from pillar to post for the release of the salary. They further said that requisition from various departments addressed to Relief commissioner Relief & Rehabilitation (M) Jammu for release of salaries never reach there on time making hundreds of employees working in valley to suffer. Their is communication gap between HOD's of various departments where our employees are working in Valley and Relief Commissioner Relief & Rehabilitation (M) Jammu who is funding authority.
Our employees always have to beg to their DDO's for release of their salaries which is delayed for months together.They further said that the day we gave been employed salaries are not on time and always there is delay in release of salary for months together.Delay in the salaries of the employees for months together have caused mental stress among the employees as far as day to day expenses are concerned.
PM Package Employees Kashmir said that they have high expectations from Governors Rule and appeals His Excellency Honorable Governor to hold an enquiry for delay in salaries of the employees for months together, the day they have been employed in Kashmir Valley and also on eve of Maha Shivrarti and come out with positive solution that the salaries of employees employed under PM Package for return and rehabilitation of kashmiri pandits are released on time.
PM Package Employees Kashmir further requests to His Excellency Honorable Governor of the state to end the communication gap between HOD’s of various departments where our employees are working in Valley and Relief Commissioner Relief & Rehabilitation (M) Jammu who is funding authority for the release of salary of PM Package employees as the requisition for salaries never reach Commissioner Office Jammu on time and pay a way for the direct funding of salary from HOD's of various departments.
