JAMMU, March 03: Ex J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullahsaid it is high time that the Peoples Democratic Party and Bhartiya Janta Party ask the Governor to dissolve the assembly and hold fresh elections.
Omar said "After late CM Mufti Sayeed passed away, we were told the government would be formed after 4th day, then it was said it would be formed after the 40th day”.
Omar said decision by Governor N.N. Vohra to start the process of Urban bodies elections hints that elections were already around the corner in J&K.
