JAMMU, Feb 27: J&K Government orders re-constitution of Auction Committee for disposal for condemned Fire Appliances/Fire Engines. The order states” In supersession of all Government Orders/Office orders, issued from time to time on the subject, sanction is hereby accorded to the Constitution of an Auction Committee, for disposal of condemned stock & Stores including vehicles & Appliances of the Fire & Emergency Services. Department J&K as per the following composition:- S.No Post held by the Officer 1 Director General, Fire & Emergency Services, J&K Chairman --- 2 Director Finance, Home Department Member 3 Joint Director, Fire & Emergency Services, Kashmir ( in respect of Member Kashmir Range)Jammu(in respect of Jammu Range) , 4 Deputy Director, State Motor Garages( in case of vehicles and related) to be nominated by the Director ,State Motor Garages, J&K 5 Deputy Director, Handloom(in case of uniform and related store Member items) to be nominated by the Director Handlooms, J&K 6 Deputy Director, Fire & Emergency Services, Central Stores Member Secretary ,Accounts Officer, Fire & Emergency Services, J&K Member .
The auction of the condemned vehicles, stocks & stores shall be conducted by way of public auction under rules. By order of the Government of Jammu And Kashmir”.
