SRINAGAR, Feb 24: In light of the directions of Governor NN Vohra during his visit to Srinagar to resume the assistance out of Chief Minister's Relief Fund in favour of small business establishments and traders having turnover of upto Rs. 5. 00 lakh and between 5 to 10 lakh, Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir released Rs. 9.00 crores in favour of Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar.
Immediately on receipt of the funds an amount of Rs. 6.0818 crore has been credited into the accounts of 2156 Traders today itself through the Tehsildars concerned.
In order to ensure transparency and accomplish the target expeditiously all the Tehsildars have been directed to ensure crediting of the assistance directly to the accounts of beneficiaries within one day on receipt of the amount in their official accounts.
