Omar takes jibe at Amit Shah over his gaffe; Shah calls BJP govt in Karnatka most corrupt

S. Sidartha Paramedical Training Institute, Sunjwan, Jammu

SRINAGAR, Mar 27: Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday took jibe at the Bharatiya Janata Party President Amit Shah over his recent faux on party’s Karnataka president B S Yeddyurappa saying “if there was ever a competition of the most corrupt government then the Yeddyurappa government is number one…”.

Omar tweeted : “If Rahul had done the same thing the social media sky would have been brought down crashing on his head”.

Yesterday, while leveling allegations against the Siddaramaiah government, Shah inadvertently said: “Recently a retired Supreme Court judge said if there was ever a competition of the most corrupt government then the Yeddyurappa government is number one...” shocking Yeddyurappa and the BJP leadership.

Shah then corrected himself and said that he meant "Siddaramaiah would come first in a competition for the most corrupt government" but the damage had already been done.
