JAMMU, MARCH 16: Speaker Kavinder Gupta today nominated the members for the Select Committee on “The Jammu and Kashmir Shri MtaSukharala Devi Ji Shrine and Shri Mata BalaSundari Shrine (Amendment) Bill, 2018”
The Committee will be headed by Minister for Tourism Tassaduq Hussain Mufti while Legislators NawangRigzinJora, Davinder Singh Rana, Satpaul Sharma, Pawan Kumar Gupta, Jeewan Lal, Rajiv Jasrotia, Ravinder Raina, Davinder Kumar Manyal are its members.
The speaker has directed the committee to submit its report to the house during the next session of the Assembly.
Earlier on February 12, the lower house during budget session referred the Bill regarding amending the Jammu and Kashmir Shri Mata Sukharala Devi Ji Shrine (SMSDJS) and Shri Mata BalaSundari Shrine (SMBSS) Act 2013 to the House Select Committee after the motion for the same was moved by legislator Davinder Singh Rana.
