UDHAMPUR, Feb 08 - Union Minister of State in PMO, Dr Jitendra Singh has announced scholarship and complete educational assistance for higher studies of Sunak Singh a resident of remote Panchari area in Udhampur district who secured 92% marks in Class X despite facing all hardships.
Dr Jitendra Singh has asked to District Development Commissioner, Udhampur, for educational assistance to be provided to the student who lost his father in a gun battle with militants. Dr Singh announced that Sunak Singh will be provided quality education, financial assistance for higher education and scholarship for sustaining his studies. He also asked for ensuring financial assistance for the family and covering under insurance scheme.
