2452 candidates appear for written test conducted by JKPSC for MO posts

JAMMU, DECEMBER 03: J&K Public Service Commission Saturday conducted Written Test, using the OMR sheet having the provision of candidate copy (detachable carbon copy), for the posts of Medical Officer (Allopathic) in Health & Medical Education Department.

According to a JKPSC spokesman, the written test was conducted at five sub-centres in Jammu and Srinagar districts. Out of 2883 candidates 2452 participated in the Written Test. Adequate security arrangements were made and Magistrates were deployed by the concerned District Authorities for smooth conduct of the examination.

Observers were also deployed at each sub-centre by the Government to oversee the conduct of examination.

The spokesman said that in terms of Rule 12 A(b) of the J&K Public Service Commission (Conduct of Examination) Rules, 2005, the representation, if any, with regard to the formulation/text of questions being admissible to different interpretation because of vagueness, question(s) in the paper being incomplete or out of syllabus notified for the purpose or all the options recorded viz-a-viz questions(s) being wrong or more than one option recorded being correct, shall be received by the Commission at Jammu/Srinagar Office or through email (coejkpsc2017@gmail.com) within 03 days commencing from the date of conduct of examination.

He said no representation, whatsoever, after the lapse of stipulated period shall be entertained by the Commission.
