POONCH, Dec 27: MLA Shah Mohammad Tantray today pitched for setting up of examination centre for SSRB examinations at Poonch district.Elaborating on the need of creating this facility in the district, the MLA said that the students of this far flung district have to travel 250 km for appearing in the examination conducted by various state recruiting agencies at Jammu. He said that Poonch being a forward district suffer a lot of hardships due to border disturbances and related activities so the people here need special attention on all fronts from the government. And also, the students belonging to weaker and low income families cannot afford to stay in winter capital for many days, he added.
