JAMMU, Dec 22: Newly elected BJP J&K president and MLA from Jammu West, Sat Sharma while speaking to Cross Town News said that his first focus would be on upcoming ULB elections and meeting the Poll promises made by the party.
Sat Sharma was elected unopposed by executive members of BJP as new president at a function held at party headquarters in Jammu on Sunday. Sat Sharma won the 2014 Assembly elections from Jammu West with record margin of 52,000 votes and his skillful role in the recently held elections of the Ladakh turned all tables in his favor.
While speaking to Cross Town News Sat Sharma said “I would work towards strengthening the party at the grassroots level as this is where party will get strengthen. My first focus would be on the upcoming ULB elections, for that we need to strengthen party cadre and meeting the poll promises made by the party".
He also said that BJP-PDP government is doing a good job as far as development is concerned and added that in coming days people will see an aura of development.
On being asked about increased Service Tax on Mata Vaishno Devi Helicopter service, Sat Sharma told Cross Town News that he will get it withdrawn soon.
