JAMMU, Dec 18: A PSO of MLA RS Pura Dr Gagan Bhagat was suspended for open firing in the air during marriage celebrations in Miran Sahib.As per police sources, PSO Surinder Kumar, a resident of Gulabgarh Basti, RS Pura accompanying MLA RS Pura Dr Gagan Bhagat during marriage celebrations in Maralian area of Miran Sahib on Wednesday night fired two rounds in the air from a pistol, thereby creating panic in the area.
After hearing the gun shots, people informed the police.The SSP Jammu Uttam Chand has ordered suspension of the PSO with immediate effect and initiated departmental inquiry against him.
