Jammu, Octobe 09: Sunil Dimple president Jammu west assembly movement addressing the press conference disclosed that the jan andolan for grant of district status to the west assembly constituency will be started from Friday 13 oct.
He also demanded the Jammu Kashmir BJP-PDP govt to start the work of Jammu AIIMS, smart city, artificial lake, constitute and implement the delimitation commission.
He alleged that the BJP-PDP Govt and ERA, PWD R&B ministry have totally failed since for the last two years to solve the traffic problem in the jammu city and is not constructing the much needed fly overs at Rehari Chungi and Jewal chowk.
Dimple urged the chief minister Mahbooba Mufti to start the work to make a jammu a smart city and solve the traffic problem in Jammu city and start the construction of flyovers at Rehari chungi, Jewal Chowk.
He alleged in the entire constituency the roads have been damaged by ERA. PHE, JMC, JDA, facing worst condition of the roads, power cuts, sacristy of drinking water, traffic problems, worst condition of the govt schools, hospitals and people are not getting the basic amenities.
He further demanded to black top all the roads of the constituency, improve the bad worst condition of roads and activate the ERA, PWD R&B, JMC.
Dimple alleged no development is taking place in the Jammu city and particularly in the west assembly constituency, where all the development is at halt after the installation of this BJP Govt.
He said and alleged the state only witnessed the terrorism, differences between the PDP, BJP ideologies after the formation of the BJP, PDP coalition govt formation in the state and the particularly the Jammu region suffered heavy loss, paid heavy price of the BJP,PDP alliance where no development is taking place and jammu is being ignored on the map of tourism.
Dimple demanded the CBI inquiry of the funds spent on the artificial lake project and now the project have stopped after spending so much money.
Dimple demanded the chief minister Mahbooba Mufti to grant District status to the jamu west assembly constituency and bifurcate the largest constituency in to two assembly constituencies. He also urged the chief minister to constitute and implement the delimitation commission in the state, to stop the discrimination with the Jammu region. As the jamu representatives are mum on these issues.
