Jammu, October 04: A court directed to register FIR against Balkar Singh, Secretary, J&K Rural Cooperative Housing in rape case u/s 376, 376-C, 420, 503, 506 RPC.
The applicant/complainant alleged that she was in need of a plot and she approached the J&K Cooperative Housing Corporation Ltd, who was unable to provide the plot. The complainant alleged that she was referred to a society affiliated with J&K Cooperative Housing Corporation Ltd, named as J&K Rural Cooperative Housing Society, which is being run by the accused & she came in contact with him through a cell number 9419119925 and requested him to provide a plot, who agreed and took her many times to nearby Kathua and raped her more than once.
SHO Channi Himmat Police Station was directed by the court to register FIR againest accused & immediately after registration of the FIR, applicant/complainant shall be produced before Judicial Magistrate for recording her statement u/s 164-A Cr.P.C, so that the investigation can be directed.
