SRINAGAR, SEP 9 : Jammu & Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Chief President G.A. Mir While talking to Press Trust of Kashmir over the visit of Home Minister Rajnath Singh said that the visit of Home Minister’s to Kashmir is not new.

He said that he has visited several times before but they yield no fruitful results and proved meaningless. He said that sitting coalition government is responsible for the current turbulent situation in the Valley as they lose faith before the public.

“They were planning to organise a mega rally for Home Minister in Srinagar to address but why they canceled it is an interesting question because they have nothing to tell to befool innocents kashmiris this time”, he said.

He said that they have send invitations to some political party for meeting which is not either they have send invitations to all parties or there should have been no invitation for anyone.

“The sudden rise in militancy related incidents and isolation of the masses is the result of wrong policies of the PDP-BJP coalition government in the State,” he said.

He further added that it was who advised people to keep RSS away from the state but as soon the elections were over, same PDP for the sake of power betrayed the mandate of people and entered into an unholy alliance with the Saffron Party.”

“The sitting BJP-PDP government cannot escape the responsibility for the ongoing losses caused to both life and property in the valley at present. But PDP is least bothered about it and is doing whatever it benefits them which is big unfortunate,” Mir said.

BJP-PDP is not equal on a single issue that is why they are trying to shift the blame of its failures on the people especially opposition, which is not only unfortunate, but highly condemnable,” he added.

Mir further added that we are looking for meaning dialogue process this time and hope everybody will meet the home minister and made him aware about real situations in Kashmir so that fruitful result can come out for the welfare of people and state. (PTK)
