Srinagar, September 08: Sources said that the chaos occured at the Srinagar airport as the pilgrims whose flights had been cancelled on Thursday evening are being brought in smaller planes due to non availability of air buses.
It added that in absence of air buses which can carry 440 passengers, the Hajj pilgrims are being brought in smaller planes which can carry only 180 people.
The luggage problem has also arised because the smaller planes dont have enough space. The relatives of the Hajj pilgrims protested and raised anti government and pro freedom sloganeering at the airport.
The paramilitary forces resorted to lathi charge to disperse the protesters of Hajj pilgrims, causing further chaos at the airport.
