JAMMU, Dec 04: Justice Bansi Lal Bhat on Thursday directed the Jammu Municipal Corporation Commissioner to file Action Taken Report within three weeks In a petition filed by Prof S K Bhalla highlighting unauthorized construction by former Revenue Minister Raman Bhalla.
After hearing Advocate Sheikh Shakeel Ahmed with Advocates Rahul Raina and Suraj Singh appearing for the petitioner, Justice Bansi Lal Bhat directed Jammu Municipal Commissioner to take action under law in regard to alleged major violation resorted to by former Revenue Minister Raman Bhalla in construction of his palatial house.
Justice Bhat issued notices to the Commissioner/ Secretary GAD, Commissioner/ Secretary Housing and Urban Development Department, Commissioner JMC and former Revenue Minister Raman Bhalla in this case.
