JAMMU, Aug 11: J&K Government vide Order No:- 1046-GAD of 2017 D a t e d :- 10-08-2017 has ordered enhancement of ex-gratia relief payable to the NoKs of Police Personnel killed in violence/militancy related incidents
The order copy available with Cross Town News reads as "In continuation of Government Order No. 36-GAD of 2017 dated 07-01-2013, sanction is hereby accorded to the enhancement of ex-gratia relief from existing Rs. 07.00 Lacs to Rs. 20.00 Lacs per case payable to the NoKs of the J&K, Police Personnel killed in the violence/militancy related incidents in terms of Govt. Order No. 723-GR(GAD) of 1990 dated 10-07-1 990 read with amendments issued from time to time. The enhancement of the ex-gratia shall be effective from today 1oth of August, 2017."
