JAMMU,Aug 01:At about 1415 hrs while down convoy of Sri Budha Amaranth Ji Yatra 2017 coming from Mandi (Poonch) to Rajouri enroute near Thandakassi 6 kms from Rajouri one female yatri namely Smt. Hansaben ,75 yrs old from Vadodra, Gujarat felt extremely ill due to dehydration, nausea, vomiting etc. When the fact was communicated to the CRPF Escort commander, immediately halted the convoy at Thandakassi and provided first aid to Smt. Hansaben.
Thereafter convoy was immediately moved to yatri ground at Rajouri. After reaching there as Smt. Hansaben was not in a position to walk, so she was carried by a CRPF personnel from parking area to the medical assistance booth at yatra Convoy ground where she was given medical treatment and when her condition improved, convoy was further moved. Her relatives who were with her, open heartedly appreciated the good deeds of CRPF personnel and said that had CRPF has not extended all help, it would have been difficult for them to look after her. They also prayed for success in good deeds and future endevours of CRPF.
