Jammu: The guest control order passed by the government in March which restricted the scale of hospitality and number of guests, fat, expensive weddings is standing no where.
The guest control order was hailed by the general public, as it was expected to prevent wastage of food and resources. The people are celebrating the marriages and other functions as per their choice.
People said that the order has been confined to papers otherwise it would have been benificial for medium families. The implementation of guest control would have given a huge relief to the poor people.
