SRINAGAR, JULY 29: The Department of Tourism has approved promotions of its 106 employees in its Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) meeting.
The DPC meeting, convened under the chairmanship of Director Tourism (Kashmir), Mahmood A Shah, was held after a gap of eight years in the Department to approve the promotions.
The promotions were awarded to section officers, assistant tourist officers, senior receptionists, receptionists and head assistants.
While hailing the employees for their work, Mr. Shah said the promotions are part of the administrative process and recognize the valuable services of the Department’s employees.
The employees thanked the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, Secretary Tourism M H Malik, Director Tourism (Kashmir) among other concerned members of the DPC for approving their promotions and redressing their issues.
