JAMMU,Nov 18: A Story implemented well in J&k that decisions were taken and under political pressure were reversed. Finance department in Jammu & Kashmir is writing another story of convincing decision making and then standing strong on that. Finance Minister Haseeb Drabu , well known Finance man and Ex Chairman J&K Bank and Commissioner Finance Navin Choudhary who has served in Top Financial Institution for 5 years in USA have got the ingredients in them to get things on track.
There have been number of cases where Finance department in last seven months took aggressive decision which some how are taking State towards better Financial conditions. They even stood to their ground when they were under fire from opposition on few decisions and even coalition partner BJP could not change their stand.
It would be interesting to see how these two would go about things in coming days as till now they have gone on combination of numerator and denominator techniques both. But the need of the hour is to go and get more creative and choose numerator techniques for generating revenues rather than coming heavy on denominator techniques of putting high taxes into the picture.
If on one hand well known Finance man and on other man who has served in top Financial Institution of World in USA are going to find it difficult to implement Creative structure then J&K might have to wait a decade to get another strong team to synchronize positive effects.
