Srinagar,June 22: Finance department today issued orders for Payment of Dearness Allowance to State Government employees continuing in pre-revised pay scales- revised rate effective from 01.07.2016 & 01.01.2017 vide Government Order No. 204-F 0f 2017 Dated 22 - 06.2017, which reads as:
In continuation to Government Order No. 140-F of 2016, dated 31-05-2016, it is hereby ordered that those State Government employees including Work Charged and Whole Time Contingent Paid employees, working in regular time wle of pay who have elected, in terms of the provisions of the J&K Gvil Service (Revised) Pay Scales, 2009, to continue to draw pay in the pre-revised scales or where new scales of pay are not applicable, shall be paid Dearness Allowance as under:-

a. The arrears on aaount of additional insblments from July, 2016 and from January 2017 upto May 2017 shall be credited to the individual GPF accounts of Government employees in the month of June 2017 and shall form part of the monthly salary from there onwards.
b. The basic pay for the purpose of this order shall mean the basic pay as defined in Article 27(aa) of the J&K Civil Service Regulations.
C. The payment of Dearness Allowanoe invdving a fraction of 50 paisa and above shall be rounded to the next higher rupee and the fractim of less than 50 paisa shall be ignored.
