JAMMU,Nov 08:Taking a dig on PM Modi’s Package for J&K State, Sham Lal Sharma Sr.Vice President JKPCC & Former Minster described it just jugglery of figures and a total eye wash. Sharma said that the package has nothing significant and includes those funds which are for ongoing projects in the state. Sharma while speaking in Monthly Meeting of Block Congress in Akhnoor Said that the Prime Minister did not address any of the issues pertaining to refugees from Pakistan, internally-displaced Kashmiri Hindus and displaced persons from PoJK. Nor did he announce any political package to end injustice with the people of the region. He also didn't announce AIIMS for Jammu. He only said AIIMS will be established and it will benefit the people of Kashmir and the people of Jammu. He also didn't announce Smart City status for Jammu city. This package has been given for payments of projects already undertaken by previous UPA Govt. and those projects which were already sanctioned & were in pipeline to be started. There is nothing new and Jammu Region has been ignored again.
The fact of the matter is that the Prime Minister visited the state only to leave the people of Jammu province high and dry. He blamed state BJP who fails to tell their national leadership about the political and Socio-economic aspirations of Jammu people.
Criticising PM for totally ignoring Jammu and humiliating its distinguished people, Mr Sharma appealed to all political workers and local’s of Akhnoor to join Congress Party’s called “Secretariat Gherao”on 9th November, to seek re-dressel of their grievances, this is high time for them to united against BJP’s betrayals.
Sharma launching a scathing attack on BJP who have learned a bitter lesson as the Bihar assembly election results have exposed the real face of BJP & Modi. Sharma said that Modi’s false agenda and fake slogans have being busted by the people of Bihar. He felicitated the people of Bihar who have shown great wisdom in stopping the fast running Communal frenzy created by BJP for the sake of grabbing power. Sharma Congratulated MahaGathbandan on their mammoth win in Bihar polls.
Mr Sharma reminded people of Jammu that they trusted Modi and voted BJP into power, but sordidly during their sojourn with PDP has virtually turned Jammu as second fiddle to Kashmir. He alleged BJP and its leadership have become HMV (His Master Voice) to PDP, as by taking U-Turn on all its electoral promises.
Shown serious concern on the rising prices, Sharma said that the Central Led BJP Government is giving people the “Bure Din” feel as the basic amenities are going beyond people’s purchase limit .Mr Sharma accused the BJP-PDP government as a utter failure to pull up the concerned departments to put effective steps. He said, while Jammu people to celebrate the coming Festivals, neither CAPD gear up to ensure ration supply, Power and adequate drinking water supply.
Accusing BJP being led by their DyCM and Ministers as most incompetent who have crossed all records of corruption exposed by media for their nexus with businessmen, traders and middlemen certainly to face the popular music soon.
