Srinagar, Jun 19: Already Govt. constituted commettees to report in 30 days into the same matter despite court orders but that 30 days never ended till today. Now again a six-member cabinet subcommittee constituted by Govt. will examine the J&K Water Policy proposal.
The committee, constituted by the state government, will he headed by the Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh.
Vide G.O. No. 98 Rev of 2016 dated 02.08.2016 two high level committee were constituted under the chairmanship of Divisional Commissioner, Jammu/Srinagar for preparation of comprehensive state level water policy/plan
Thereafter vide G.O. No. 145-Rev of 2016 dated 20.10.2016, a commettee headed by Chief Engineer,I&FC was directed to report within 30 days but who will see the outcome of the commettees is a question mark?
However, new commettee was formed in response to the cabinet’s decision to examine the draft in order to make the policy more comprehensive. The committee is to submit its report within a month. Let us see when their 30 days will over.
Shall ithis Ministers commettee first see the outcome of two commettes already constituted for the same purpose?
