JAMMU, Nov 07: A high level team from Wipro Technologies, a multi-national company lead by Mr. Viswanathan V. Global Head, conducted placement drive for final year students of Electrical, Electronic and Communication and Computer Engineering of GCET and SMVDU in GCET Campus for the first time.
The selection process comprises of online test followed by discussion and technical interview.Out of 55 students who appeared through the process, a total of 27 students were shortlisted and finally 12 students of GCET and 11 students of SMVDU were selected by the company.
Mr. Viswanathan V, the team leader of the recruitment drive interacted with Principal, GCET, Dr. Sameru Sharma and also conveyed satisfaction with quality of the technical graduates as well as appreciated the college management for providing efficient technical support for conduct of online test. Principal, GCET congratulated all the selected students for their good performance in the process and also the training and placement team comprising of Mrs. Anjali Thusoo, Mr. Ajay Abrol, Mr. Rajiv Bali, Dr. Jyoti Mahajan, Mr. Neeraj Dubey and Mr. Vishal Vaid for providing all necessary support for smooth conduct of placement drive.
