SRINAGAR, Oct 27: The Secretariat Non-Gazetted Employees Union led by its president, Mr. Ghulam Rasool Mir and other office bearers today met the Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Abdul Haq and discussed the situation arises out of the recent earthquake in the State, due to which the main secretariat building has developed minor cracks.
The deputation demanded that adequate measures be undertaken to ensure the safety of the employees working in the civil secretariat and corrective steps also be undertaken on account of the same.The Minister assured that he would take up the issue with the concerned authorities and necessary measures would be undertaken on priority.
