NEW DELHI, Oct 23: The relaxation in upper age limit for residents of Jammu and Kashmir has been extended, till 2017, by the Centre for recruitments to various Central Civil Services and other posts.
Accordingly Personnel Ministry has notified the Residents of the State of Jammu and Kashmir (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit for Recruitment to Central Civil Services and posts) Amendment Rules, 2015 extending the relaxation in upper age to 2017 from 2015.
The upper age limit is further relaxable upto a maximum of five years if a candidate had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu and Kashmir during the period from January 1, 1980 to December 31, 1989.
