Slowly and steadily Sports getting a “Positive thumb” in J&K

You look ten years back , It was not that easy to make a going in Sport field in Jammu & Kashmir but with time things are easing up. With lot of emphasis being made on Sports Development and Infrastructure , the stature of Sports will surely see new heights in coming days.

If you look at Sportsperson   like  Parvez Rasool, Arun Malhotra, Krupali Singh, Bilquees Mir, Shubam Khajuria  , things have changed for positive. Each budding sportsperson in Jammu & Kashmir now has Role Models to look upon and this give a sense of belief to these upcoming Sportsperson that even they can match the heights of International and National  levels.

Sports Minister Imran Ansari  in consultation with CM Mufti Sayeed has picked first four names mentioned above in the Sports Council. Their experience in the field will help immensely in the Board room and this will help in taking decision where Sportsperson mind will speak up.

With RS 200 cr around the corner for the development of Sports , things in coming days are going to improve vastly in state as Few Private players are also  lending their hands to get Sports on right track in coming years.
