Claim as I/c Lecturer rejected by the Govt

Jammu, April 19: Vide Government Order No: 175- Edu of 2017, D a t e d: 17.04 2017 the case of applicant stands rejected, the order reads as:
Whereas, the petitioner filed writ petition bearing SWP No: 906/2016 titled Mohd. Aslam V/S State and others before the Hon'ble High Court; and 
Whereas, the Hon'ble High Court, in the said writ petition on 03.05.2016, was pleased to pass the following orders:-
"/n the meantime, respondents are directed to consider the case of the petitioner for placement as lncharge Lecturer against any available vacancy". 
Whereas, the case was examined by the Department and it was found that the Department vide Government Order No. 343-Edu of 2013 dated 20.03.2013 issued updated seniority list of PG MastersfTeachers in the discipline of English. The seniority list was issued by following the due procedure. The seniority position of the petitioner in the said seniority list is as under:-

Whereas, on the basis of updated seniority list, 200 PG MastersfTeachers were placed as 1/C Lecturer in the discipline of English vide Government Order No. 349-Edu of 2013 dated 21 .03.2013, including the petitioner at S.No. 135 with the directions to report to the concerned Directorate within a period of 21 days for further adjustment; and 
Whereas, after issuance of placement order dated 21.03.2013, the list of candidates who have not joined/reported in the concerned Directorates was obtained from the Director of School Education, Kashmir/Jammu. The petitioner also did not join within the stipulated time period; and 
Whereas, the case of non-JOining of candidates/promotees were examined in the Department and their placement including Mr. Mohd. Aslam, as 1/C 
Lecturer (English) was withdrawn vide Government Order No. 626-Edu of 2014 dated 01 .09.2014 and the vacancy caused due to the non-joining of the petitioner was filled up by placing next eligible candidate. 
Now, therefore, in compliance to the Hon'ble High Court's direction dated: 03.05.2016 passed in SWP No: 906/2016, the claim of the petitioner for placement as lncharge Lecturer (English) has been considered and found without merit, hence rejected.
