Srinagar, April 12: Government has engaged in service candidates for the post of Medical Superintendent and Deputy Medical Superintendent at Government Medical College, Srinagar in violation of rule of SRO-384, as per reports.

Rules of SRO-384 says that in services candidates are not eligible for the engagement of Medical and Deputy Medical Superintendents. But the rules have been flouted and in-service candidates have been given the charge of Medical and Deputy Medical Superintendents in the Associate Hospitals of GMC.
