SRINAGAR: Former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah termed Tassaduq Mufti’s statement of apealling the ECI should defer the Anantnag polls in wake of eight killing on Sunday as “indictment of his sister’s government.”
Omar tweeted “EC is well within its powers to postpone or countermand Anantnag election but if so @MehboobaMufti must reign & Governor should take charge.”
“Tassaduq’s statement is an indictment of his sister @MehboobaMufti’s government & its abject failure. How can the BJP not see this?”
