JAMMU, APRIL 07 – J&K State Financial Corporation today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with United India Insurance Company Ltd, a Government of India Undertaking for selling general insurance products, including health products as part of its formal foray into the insurance business.
The MoU was signed by Managing Director J&K State Financial Corporation, Mohammad Farooq Thoker and Vijay Sharma, Chief Regional Manager on behalf of the United India Insurance Company Ltd.
Also present on the occasion were Divisional Manager (Division-I Jammu) M L Verma, Divisional Manager (Division II Jammu) Suresh Gupta and General Manager N.A. Bhat besides other officers of the Corporation.
Pertinently, the corporation has inked this document in furtherance to the decision taken by Finance Minister, DR Haseeb Drabu in recently held 235th Board of Directors meeting.
