JAMMU:Prof.Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party & Sr. Advocate in the Supreme Court of India who is expert on the Constitutional Law has urged Election Commission of India to cancel Parliamentary bye-election in the Kashmir Valley for the reason that the political parties contesting poll have violated Model Code of Conduct and even violated the constitutional mandate particularly by the National Conference candidate and its ally Congress Party.

Prof.Bhim Singh expressed shock that Dr. Farooq Abdullah contesting Lok Sabha bye-election from Srinagar Constituency has challenged the Code of Conduct even challenging the Model Code of Conduct inviting the United States of America to mediate on the so-called issue of J&K. Dr. Farooq Abdullah made a sinister attempt yesterday in his election speech violating the Model Code of Conduct announcing, “If India does not make an attempt to solve our (J&K) problems then we welcome America’s attempt to mediate.” Dr. Farooq Abdullah, a candidate from Srinagar Lok Sabha seat has challenged the Accession of J&K signed by its ruler on 26th October, 1947 and even challenged the sanctity of Accession which is against the norms, and against the constitutional propriety. Prof.Bhim Singh, a constitutional expert described Dr. Farooq Abdullah’s  statement and criminal silence of the Congress and PDP who are also contesting election in Anantnag parliamentary constituency as intriguing, against the mandate of the Constitution and violative of the election Code of Conduct. He urged the Election Commission of India to call the entire speech (speeches) of Dr. Farooq Abdullah and NC-Congress joint candidate from Srinagar constituency and take stern and appropriate action by declaring the candidature of Dr. Farooq Abdullah and others as null and void. The Panthers Party Chief Patron has urged Election Commission of India to cancel the polls for the Lok Sabha seat which are scheduled in the second week of April, 2017.
