SRINAGAR, Mar 19: Kick Starting election campaign from Dooru Verinag today, District Congress Committee Anantnag held a joint meeting of prominent workers of INC & NC at Veerinag and Saidiwara.
The meeting was presided over by MLA Gulzar Ahmad Wani and attended by Senior District Leaders of the Party.
Addressing the meeting MLA Gulzar Ahmad Wani urged upon the party workers of INC & NC to gear up for the ensuing Lok Sabha Elections and ensure victory of Joint Candidate Mr. G.A. Mir with an overwhelming majority, for the fact victory of Congress candidate will be the victory of secular forces in the State.
He said this the high time for the people to defeat the menace of RSS PDP combination, which is hell bent upon to divide people on religious and regional lines for the sake of power.
People have realized that the PDP BJP Coalition which is responsible for the agony and anguish of the people anguish and their vote to PDP and the day is not far when both Parties will be wiped out from the State, Wani said. (PTK)
