SRINAGAR, Mar 15: Police recovered an abducted girl and arrested the accused involved in the crime.
Police post Utrsoo received a written complaint from one person that his daughter (name withheld) was kidnapped by one person namely Amir Ahmad Wagay son of Ghulam Mohd Wagay resident of Dethu Mattan.
“On this information Police Post Utrsoo lodged a report and investigation was set into motion. Police recovered the girl and arrested the accused from District Reasi. After completion of legal formalities the girl was handed over to her family members”, police said.
A case FIR number 15/2017 under section 363/ RPC was registered in Police Post Utrsoo and investigation was taken up. (PTK)
